Seminar AND HANDS-ON WORKSHOP "Remote sensing of the ocean: advances for offshore renewable energy and marine applications" - prof. Encarni Medina-Lopez

The workshop will include a short presentation on the activities of the research group of Dr. Medina-Lopez, fostering opportunities for collaboration.
Next, the workshop will encompass the use of satellite data for geospatial applications, exploiting the tools of Google Earth Engine: typical variables will include chloropyll-a and wave heights, but the methods are flexible and interdisciplinary! Do not forget to bring your laptop, since it will be a hands-on workshop!
The event is organized in collaboration with the Department of Environmental, Land and Infrastructure Engineering (DIATI).
