Noise and vibration of electric aircrafts

The seminar will be presented by Prof. Julio A. Cordioli, Associate Professor, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.
The talk will explore recent developments in electric aircraft, including adapted conventional airplanes, eVTOLs for urban mobility, and drones for logistics. As these vehicles increasingly operate in cities, noise has become a critical issue. The seminar will discuss the main sources of noise and vibration, mitigation strategies, their effects on urban soundscapes and passenger comfort, and ongoing research using numerical and experimental tools.
