Biography

Nicola Puca was born in Naples in 1996. He is currently a PhD student at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (DIMEAS) of Politecnico di Torino. He received his Master of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering on July 2022, with a thesis developed in collaboration with Centro Italiano di Ricerche Aerospaziali (CIRA).
His current research project focuses on the development of specific decision-making aiding subsystems for Single-Pilot Operations in the civil aviation domain. This will consist of defining the requirements for a Digital Pilot Assistant (DPA).
The activity of his research is supported by a collaboration with Leonardo SpA.
