CURRICULUM • Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in July 1997, • Ph.D. Degree in Design and Construction of Machine at Politecnico di Torino in 2001, • Assistant Researcher at Politecnico di Torino from March 2001 to June 2002, • Researcher at Politecnico di Torino from June 2002 to September 2014, • Associate Professor at Politecnico di Torino from October 2014 to February 2020, • Full Professor at Politecnico di Torino from March 2020. TEACHING Chair of the Courses of: • Dynamic Design of Machines, • Chassis Design • Driver Assistance System Design ROLES AND POSITIONS @ Politecnico di Torino • Director for the installation and commissioning of a test rig facility dedicated to the test and experimentation of electric and hybrid vehicles and powertrains (2019-today) • Vice - Director of the Center for Automotive Research and Sustainable Mobility- CARS (2018-today) • Member of the PhD Board in Mechanical Engineering (2013-today) RESEARCH Research topics: • Mechatronic Systems for Automotive o Regenerative shock absorbers and intelligent suspensions, o Hybrid and electric powertrains, o Mechatronic systems for autonomous and connected vehicles. • Mechatronic Systems for industrial automation o Vibration control in metal sheets rolling plants, o Actuation systems for tooling machines. • Magnetic Suspensions for high speed transportations systems and rotating machinery o Active and passive magnetic bearings for rotating machines o Hysteresis high speed motors o Passive levitations for high speed transportation system. Author of 46 Journal papers, 84 Conference papers, 3 book chapters, 15 patents. Scientific Responsible of 21 research projects funded by companies and 12 competitive Project supported by public funding.
