Biography

He achieved B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2018 and M.Sc. degree in Mechatronic Engineering in 2020, both at Polytechnic of Turin. Among the multidisciplinary topics of M.Sc. degree, he focused on the fields of automatic and digital controls, robotics, modelling and simulation of mechatronic systems and electrical machines. He participated to a student’s team project related to battery aging of automotive electric vehicles, held by CLIK Polytechnic of Turin group, in collaboration with FCA company. His thesis work was related to a robotic system model-based control, called Embedded Model Control, in network controlled system (NCS) scenario.
After graduation, he worked in FCA company (now Stellantis) as consultant for mild-hybrid, plug-in and full electric vehicle prototypes development.
He is now working as PhD fellow in Aerospace Engineering at Polytechnic of Turin, for the design and development of an electric vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft for people transportation, based on a patented solution for electric propulsion system, called ThrustPod.
