Biography

From the complexities of Hybrid Rocket Engines' combustion chamber instability to the intricate research on Hydrogen-fuelled combustors, my journey in aerospace engineering has been fueled by a passion for innovation and a commitment to sustainability.

I graduated with honours at Politecnico di Torino in 2022 with a thesis titled "Parametric analysis of combustion chamber instability for hybrid-propellant rockets". Then, I did a two-month research fellowship at Politecnico, further improving a quasi-1D Fortran CFD code to characterise low-frequency instabilities in hybrid rocket engines: among my tasks was constructing an Artificial Neural Network to approximate chemical equilibrium in the combustion chamber for a Gaseous Oxygen - Paraffin engine.

In November 2022, I started my PhD at DIMEAS. My project, entitled "Direct Hydrogen Combustion in Jet Engines", focuses on adapting jet engines to harness hydrogen power effectively.
