Biography

Always passionate about the world of science and aerospace, I pursued B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees at the Polytechnic University of Turin, specializing in the area of propulsion systems, and currently I hold the position of Ph.D. candidate at the same university. My research topics and interests are rocket engines, aerospace propulsion, turbulent reacting flows, and machine learning techniques for CFD. The goal of my Ph.D. is to develop a data-augmented RANS model for pintle injectors-based Liquid Rocket Engines, taking high fidelity experimental and numerical data and building AI-based surrogate models with a low computational cost for spray breakup and turbulence.
