Abstract
Il progetto STAMP intende sviluppare e consolidare le tecnologie di Additive Manufacturing (AM) all’interno del panorama industriale piemontese. STAMP, attraverso una serie di attività di ricerca dedicate, porterà ad un’evoluzione di tutta la filiera Additive Manufacturing, in particolare per le tecnologie comunemente definite Powder Bed (PB) e Direct Deposition (DD), allo scopo di superare le attuali limitazioni di processo. STAMP, grazie alla sinergia tra centri di ricerca e PMI, sarà in grado di dimostrare l’efficacia econvenienza della produzione Additive Manufacturing per il settore industriale piemontese attraverso due principali filoni di intervento:- La progettazione orientata all’Additive Manufacturing intesa come la somma di tutte quelle tecniche di design e simulazione necessarie per sfruttare appieno tutte le possibilitàdell’approccio AM. STAMP intende eliminare l’approccio empirico (trial&error) al processo attualmente impiegato, definendo le linee guida per la corretta progettazione AdditiveManufacturing. STAMP dimostrerà la validità di tale approccio attraverso la riprogettazione e produzione di casi studio dedicati, selezionati tra i componenti dei settoriautomotive e aeronautico.- Il miglioramento delle tecniche di deposizione AM Powder Bed e Direct Deposition, indagandone i limiti e sviluppando soluzioni tecnologiche avanzate per ridurre gli attuali limiti di processo, incrementando ad esempio tutta la fase di controllo e monitoraggio. STAMP validerà i miglioramenti, in termini di velocità di produzione e controllo di processo, realizzando due dimostratori di macchina di deposizione Additive Manufacturing, una basata sulla tecnologia Powder Bed ed una sulla tecnologia Direct Deposition.
