CORSO III Livello Fundamentals of fluid film lubrication: models and applications - Prof. Federico Colombo

The course is intended to furnish to students the basis of theory of fluid film lubrication for incompressible fluids. It will involve both theoretical explanations with simple exercises to apply the basic formulas, and also examples of numerical solutions.
Fluid film bearings of common use in industry will be described with also some examples of elastohydrodynamic lubrication (gears, rolling bearings, biotribology applications).
