PhD Excellence course: Geometrically exact shell elements for multifield problems through sampling surfacesx formulation

This course deals mainly with the linear elastic analysis of laminated, composite plate and shell structures. Mechanical, thermal and electrical loadings are considered. Particular attention is paid to the use of the Finite Element Method for this kind of structural problems.
