Biography

Francesco Marino is pursuing his PhD in Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. With a focused interest in the applications of Data Science, he is actively working at Lufthansa Technik on Predictive Maintenance topics. His research pursuits notably include data-driven modeling, domain generalization, decision-making, and uncertainty estimation within Deep Learning. The research areas mentioned also have implications in additional fields, such as autonomous robotics and scenarios where autonomous decision-making is critical. In addition to his academic and professional work, he is a member of the Flight Mechanics and Simulation Research Team at Politecnico di Torino, further solidifying his commitment to the exploration and advancement of aerospace technologies.
