2ND FLOOR, MEETING ROOM “FERRARI"

Timetable:

  • 09/01, 10:00-13:00
    • Introduction to transmissions: why they are needed, choice of the transmission ratios, launch
      devices (clutches/torque converters).
  • 14/01, 10:00-13:00
    • Analysis and models of the main architectures: MT (manual transmissions with detailed analysis of gearshifts), DCT (Dual clutch transmissions) and AMT (automated manual transmissions).
  • 16/01, 9:00-13:00
    • Analysis and models of the main architectures: AT (automatic transmissions), CVT (continuously
variable transmissions) and hybrid transmissions (HT – series, parallel, series-parallel, dual mode)
  • 21/01, 10:00-13:00
    • Analysis and models of the main architectures: hybrid transmissions
Analysis of transmission components: open, limited slip and self-locking differentials. Influence on
      vehicle dynamics.

    • Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF): filtering effect of engine oscillations.
Simplified models for the analysis of transmission torsional oscillations (space state analysis).
      Development of models in Matlab/Simulink.
  • 29/01, 9:00-13:00
    • Development of models in Matlab/Simulink.
Analysis of hybrid systems with Simscape
